Thank you for choosing Rhythm & Rein Bodywork to provide professional bodywork for your horse, small animal, or yourself. For each session is completed with correct techniques and slow movement to ensure relaxation and a pleasant response to the modalities used. Every equine or small animal session will begin with an evaluation of the body so that wounds, inflammation, or sensitivity are accurately recorded for future sessions. For human sessions, some simple questions may be asked on where your sore spots are present for record keeping.

Presently, I have certifications in equine massage therapy and MagnaWave PEMF for equines and small animals.

Additionally, I require client intake and consent/wavier forms to be filled at the first session before any modalities are applied. These forms only need to be filled out once unless you move locations or terms have been updated on the forms.

Service & Price List

Complementary Session
FREE
~ 60 minutes

Available for humans, small animal, and equine sessions. This session is reserved for first-time clients and first-time sessions ONLY. It is an introduction to the service(s) provided for humans, small animal, and equines. Client consent forms/waivers are filled out at this session and prior to any bodywork being done and must be filled out by someone 18 years or older.

Small Animal PEMF
$40
~ 5-10 minutes for cats
~ 10-20 minutes for dogs

Generally, a whole-body session unless specified by the owner(s) with the pet(s) dictating the session’s length of time. Any coil attachment can be used during these sessions. Areas of concern will be worked on longer followed by a light whole-body session. Cats usually do not like sessions unless something is causing them pain and they are happiest when in the vicinity of their owner(s). Dogs are easier to keep on a consistent schedule. Both cats and dogs may be hesitant for their first sessions but will be more receptive to future ones once they know that they’ll feel good afterwards. Multiple sessions may be need in order to see a difference in your pet(s) body or daily activities.

Please note that there are some contradictions to using a PEMF machine (i.e. like certain medication use or medical implanted devices) and would need approval from your primary medical professional before use. For a full list of the contradiction, you can message or email us.

Human PEMF
$50
~ 10-30 minutes

During this session we will primarily place the coil attachment on a spot that is bothersome to you (i.e. your knee, shoulder, back, hip, ankle) for 10 minutes. After that we can either close the session or spend some time doing 2-3 minutes on other areas that are not the primary source of pain/discomfort. If an injury recently occurred, then more than one session may be needed in order to feel a sense of normal again. The small butterfly loop works best for these sessions.

Please note that there are some contradictions to using a PEMF machine (i.e. like certain medication use or medical implanted devices) and would need approval from your primary medical professional before use. For a full list of the contradiction, you can message or email us.

Equine Stretching
$40
~ 20-30 minutes

Generally, a whole body session unless specified by the owner(s) where only certain parts will be focused on (i.e. the neck only or the limbs only). Most horses are food motivated and would easily do the neck stretches, while it may take a few sessions for them to understand limb and back stretches. Stretching pairs lovely with both the PEMF and massage sessions, which helps your horse have a more beneficial bodywork session.

Equine Massage
$80
~ 60 minutes

ONLY a whole-body session with the use of slow and correct hand techniques that range from light to deep pressure. Trigger point pressuring is also utilized during the session to release tight bulbus spots along the horses’ topline or girth area. Most horses may take a few sessions to fully understand and appreciate the way their bodies feel during the session. Long term results in the horses’ body or performance may be seen after multiple sessions.

Equine PEMF
$80
~ 20-40 minutes

Generally, a whole-body session unless specified by the owner(s) where areas of concern will be worked on longer followed by 2-3 minutes on other areas. Any coil attachment can be used and most horses are receptive on the first session, unless the horse is more guarded/sensitive to touch. The sessions length of time and areas worked on are dictated by the horse. Highly sensitive areas will be avoided until trust and relaxation are achieved between the practitioner and horse. Multiple sessions may be needed in order to see a difference in the horses’ body or performance.

Please note that there are some contradictions to using a PEMF machine (i.e. like certain medication use or medical implanted devices) and would need approval from your primary medical professional before use. For a full list of the contradiction, you can message or email us.

$104

This special is a combination of the human and equine PEMF services at a discounted price instead of paying for two individual sessions. Treat it as a pre-ride warm up for both the rider and horse or as a post-ride recovery session for both.

~ 20-60 minutes
